This was written when there was a family fight.
"My wish for Christmas"

My one and only wish for Christmas
Is for everything to go back to normal
Things seem to be falling apart for me
My sister and serious fiancé have split up
I sense tension in the family
I am stuck in the middle of everything
And I feel like I cannot escape
I feel trapped and I need to get free
No one knows how I feel but that's not their fault
It is mine and only mine
I have to face my problems
The parents are upset with each other
Hopefully divorce is not in mind
But it's not a fact
My one and only wish for Christmas
Is for everything to go back to normal.

~Luckily, everything did and I'm alright again!

I know it's just a feeling
But to me it's all true
I sometimes wish to get out
I wish my life would change
I know I seem different
But that's who I am
But the world doesn't like different
Or so it seems
Me, feeling and being different
I feel rejected by most
Not all, but most
I feel trapped in a world that doesn't want me
Over 50% in my grade think I am strange
So what? I have to converse with people older than I?
What will happen when I am in my grade 12 year?
I'll have only the people who reject me
I do admit, not everyone does
My personality is different from others
Is that what bothers them?
If it is I am afraid that's too bad
I am what I am
